Campout Packing List
Sleeping
Sleeping bag (They will need a warm sleeping bag, not just a blanket)
Sleeping pad (To get them off of the cold ground) (OPTIONAL)
Headlamp or flashlight
Clothing
Beanie - to wear to bed and over wet hair
Garbage bag for wet gear and dirty clothes
3 - pair socks
Class A Scout shirt (Will be worn to either LDS worship service or non-denominational worship service)
1 - Troop t-shirt
2 - Regular T-shirts
3 pair - underwear
Gloves
Hiking boots or tennis shoes
Long Pants
Shorts
Rain gear or rain coat
Sleeping clothes (Think layers that they can wear. If they’re too warm they can remove a layer. If they’re too cold they’ll need to be able to add a layer)
Sweatshirt
Coat (The night’s may be cold)
Swimsuit (They will be wading and playing in a creek)
Towel
Activity Items
Mountain Bikers
Each boy provides their own bike
Each biker MUST have a helmet. If they don’t have one, or forget a helmet, they will not be allowed to bike
Rock Hounders
Bucket for rocks they collect (With their name on the bucket)
Hammer (Break open rocks, or use the claw to dig rocks out - please place your name on the hammer)
